I was thrilled with almost all of the results of last night’s Golden Globe awards. While I predicted and was ecstatic to watch Slumdog Millionaire walk away with award after award, I was equally overjoyed with some of the more unexpected, but no less deserved wins, such as Colin Farrell for In Bruges, Mickey Rourke for The Wrestler, and, of course, the late Heath Ledger for The Dark Knight. Steven Spielberg’s Cecil B. DeMille Award was the icing on a very tasty cake.
