Christianity Today has come out with a two-part look at the best films 2007 had to offer. First it released its ten “most redeeming” films of the past year and on Friday it ran with its “The 2007 Critics’ Choice Awards.”

As a writer for Christianity Today Movies, I am happy to say that they are (mostly) terrific lists. If you are one of those readers who think all Christian film sites review the same way (fastidiously counting instances of profanity and flashes of nudity), you are sure to be pleasantly surprised.

Each of us at CT Movies got to do a short write-up on one film for each category that we felt was overlooked. I chose The Lives of Others and Rescue Dawn.
